| Select difficulty level then click on the Start button to begin the game. The state name appears in the box below the map. Click on the corresponding state on the map. The state will turn green if correct and red for an incorrect selection. A correct selection is awarded 100 points (150 points for difficult mode) while and incorrect selection has 50 points deducted. A new state name is displayed each time the map is clicked. Clicking the Next button skips to the next state, 25 points are deducted. The player has 240 seconds (180 seconds for difficult mode) to click on all the states. The game is over once the time has expired or all states are clicked. Bonus points applied to score at end of game when all states clicked before time runs out. Extra bonus points added for all correct clicks. |

| Technical Details |
| This game was constructed using the the MapTron 1022 interactive map. The solution operates on the client side once the page and resources have downloaded from the server. There is no client (browser) to server interaction during game time. The page loads along with JavaScript data and functions used to control the game. Clicking on a state calls on a JavaScript function coloring the state either red or green by updating the map XML. The map is updated every time a state is clicked with XML sent from JavaScript. |
