| This solution integrates a third party street level map system with the MapTron 1101 interactive map. The 1101 product is contained within an inline frame displaying national office locations. Mouseovers active state or office location marker displays the office name above the map. States that contain an office are shown in orange while inactive states are grayed. Clicking on an office location loads a detail page into the inline frame showing office address and street level detail.

| Technical Details |
The USA map mouseover data is passed from Flash to a JavaScript function on the web page. The JavaScript function displays the office name within a div area above the map. Clicking on a state or office marker loads the office detail page into the inline frame replacing the USA map. The USA map is configured with state and markers linked to the individual detail pages. The detail page displays the location address on the left and the third party street level map within a smaller inline frame on the right. This solution makes use of separate static detail pages, one per office. The same solution could be constructed using dynamic data from a server side script or database system to generate the detail page and or USA map configuration.
This example integrates Google™ Maps to provide the street level detail. The street level map is contained within an inline frame. The HTML code for the inline frame is obtained from maps.google.com website. |
